Some have been sipping spiritual milkshakes way too long when we were made to feast.
“For even though by this time you ought to be teaching others, you actually need someone to teach you over again the very first principles of God’s Word. You have come to need milk, not solid food.” Hebrews 5:12
The King James says, “Ye are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat.”
How many are still content with the straw and spoon, yet wondering why they’re not walking in the fullness of an overcomer’s life?
Salvation is the starting point. Growth is the goal.
There is wisdom in examining our own lives—not to shame, but to stir.
What would “meat” look like in your walk right now?
• Bible study?
• Obedience even in the small and ordinary?
• Mentoring someone—or be mentored?
• Choosing consistency over convenience?
We’re not just meant to be fed. We’re meant to learn how to feed others…with substance. Whatever it is, don’t stay stuck at the sip. We were made to mature.
